ACTIVITY OVERVIEW
Our Ultrasound in Aesthetics course provides participants with didactic knowledge and hands-on skills for safe and effective use of ultrasound applications specifically for facial anatomy. This includes facial tissue differentiation and filler recognition, Doppler evaluation of vascularity, ultrasound-guided techniques and more. The course covers how to immediately integrate the skills providers learn into their clinics right away and will allow participants to get the most out of the ultrasound training
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the needs of physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners and dentists.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
•​State and implement basic foundations of ultrasound physics, device, knobology an terminology.
•​Identify normal facial structures and how these structures appear on ultrasound.
•​Identify and interrogate vascularity in the face, utilizing Doppler.
•​Integrate concepts of basic ultrasound-guided procedure techniques.
•​Integrate the use of ultrasound into their practice.
