Ultrasound in Aesthetics is an immersive, hands-on training experience designed to give medical aesthetic providers a strong foundation in facial ultrasound and the confidence to begin integrating real-time imaging into clinical practice.

Led by Candice Dery, RDMS, founder of Aesthetic Imaging, this signature course brings the principles of diagnostic ultrasound into aesthetic medicine through focused education, hands-on scanning, and direct instruction from an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in facial ultrasound.

This is intentionally not a large-group ultrasound course.
These Ultrasound in Aesthetics sessions are limited to a maximum of three delegates, creating an intimate learning environment with individualized instruction, direct feedback, and extensive hands-on scanning.
With only three seats available for each training date, every delegate has the opportunity to ask questions, refine scanning technique, and receive real-time guidance throughout the course.

Our goal
The goal is not simply to teach you how to operate an ultrasound machine. The goal is to teach you how to understand what you are seeing.
Why Aesthetic Imaging?
Sonographer-first
Ultrasound is highly operator-dependent. Image quality, interpretation, and clinical usefulness are directly influenced by the skill of the person holding the transducer.

That is why this course is taught from a sonographer-first perspective.

Candice Dery, RDMS, brings more than 14 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience to aesthetic medicine, combining the principles of medical sonography with the unique imaging needs of today's medical aesthetic provider.

You will learn not only where to scan, but how to acquire, optimize, and interpret meaningful ultrasound images.

Sonographer Instruction

Airport

For delegates traveling from outside the Pacific Northwest, fly into Portland International Airport (PDX).
​
The Aesthetic Imaging training location is in Vancouver, Washington, just across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon, making PDX the most convenient airport for your training. The training site is approximately a 15-minute drive from the airport.
​
We recommend arriving the evening before your scheduled course, so you are rested and ready for an 8:30 AM start.

Your training day combines focused ultrasound education with extensive hands-on facial scanning in an intimate learning environment. If you want to bring your own ultrasound device, please feel welcome to however, it is not necessary.
​
Because enrollment is limited to only three delegates, the course is intentionally structured to provide individualized instruction, direct scanning feedback, opportunities to ask questions, and meaningful hands-on scanning time.
​
Training concludes at approximately 3:00 PM Pacific Time.

Because enrollment is intentionally limited to preserve the quality of the training experience, advance registration is strongly encouraged.
Registration & Transfer Policy
All registrations are non-refundable.

We understand that schedules can change. If you are unable to attend your registered training date, your registration may be transferred one time to another available Ultrasound in Aesthetics™ Pacific Northwest training date, subject to seat availability.
